Edge-Sleeve® is unique in that we incorporate our proprietary material, ShoreGrip®, on the inside; this helps to hold the unit in place on the rope without having to anchor it with an accessory cord. These models are multi-layered, with the outer layer constructed of our (black) proprietary nylon weave, developed specifically for abrasion resistance, an inner layer of yellow ballistic nylon. The yellow ballistic nylon serves as a wear indicator.
